A Window Between Worlds is a non-profit program dedicated to using art to help end domestic violence. Battered women and their children recover a sense of renewal and power through creative expression. Their images of hope survival and strength educate the public and become "a window between worlds" for women taking steps to change their lives. Our organization trains shetler art leaders who use art as a way to help women and children regain their self-esteem and emotional safety. Since 1991 we have reached over 15,000 Women and Children through AWBW programs.
