N/A 94,000 homeless people sleep on the streets of Los Angeles every night. 30% are women and 12,000 are youth ages 12 to 17 years old. They fall victim to prostitution and abuse. HIV/AIDS and other diseases are constant threats. The shelters are in an urgent time right now. Los Angeles is the homeless capital of the nation. The Los Angeles Homeless Services Coalition is seeking Outreach Organizers and Campaign Directors to be part of our ground-breaking citywide canvassing campaign to eradicate homelessness by raising support for nonprofit homeless charities and building awareness in the community about the crisis of homelessness in Los Angeles.
