The Volunteers of America Colorado Branch seeks to identify and serve the basic needs of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the community. The VOA Safety of Seniors Handyman Program provides safety surveys and minor home repairs to senior citizens in Denver and Larimer Counties. Handyman program services and repairs range from installing smoke detectors and bathroom grab bars to changing furnace filters and fixing drippy faucets. There is no cost for the initial survey and the labor is donated by the volunteer. The only cost to the senior citizen is that of materials.
