FRIENDS FIRST empowers teens to make positive life choices and develop healthy relationships by providing education to youth, families and communities. We encourage youth to make healthy choices by avoiding high risk behaviors such as alcohol, drugs, tobacco, sexual activity, and violence as well as encouraging positive youth development, character, and leadership. FRIENDS FIRST has extensive experience in providing youth and parent programs, serving as a national resource for training and distribution, as well as providing direct services. We facilitate classroom instruction, assemblies, after school programs, and parent education events. We serve over 50 schools in the Denver metro area. In the 2012-2013 fiscal year we served over 15,000 students and parents with over 99,000 hours of service.
