To contribute to the conservation of the Huemul (Hippocamelus bisulcus) by means of a citizen action oriented toward the education and promotion of huemul conservation in the general public and political leaders. The Bike-A-Thon is a journey on bicycle through Chile in the hopes of generating broad consciousness and concern in the general public of Chile about the possible extinction of the animal. We hope to involve children and young people. A group of amateur cyclists who are committed to the cause arecurrently being recruited. They will begin their Bike-a-Thon in the far south of Chile
