Through entrepreneurship training NFTE CT will be recognized as the states leading program for: Motivating low income and inner city youth to stay in school and pursue a higher level of education. Motivating low income and inner city high school age youth to believe that they can choose business ownership as a viable career. Improving low income and inner city high school age youth career-building skills Encouraging the State Department of Education to adopt the NFTE program as an ongoing part of its core high school curriculum.
