Hartford Teaching Fellows is a highly selective program that is mobilizing 50 talented professionals and recent college graduates to teach in Hartford's challenged schools. Previous coursework in education or teaching experience is not required. The two year Fellowship includes a regular teaching salary intensive pre-service training culminating in initial CT teacher certification and on-going support. The strategy of the Fellowship is to create a network of dynamic professionals determined to build effective classrooms where every student achieves.
