The Center for Environmental Education and Information documents all the polliuted streams and related information on its website and gets out to 12,000 high schools and 3400 colleges and universities in the United States. We do this because the media has not run these lists for 30 years that are compiled by the states themselves to comply with The Clean Water Act. In addition CEEI is adding an Endangered Species Early Warning (ESEW) website. This web site will have 5000 links to CEEI's excisting site. This is the only website that will show watershed habitat as it relates to species that are in trouble or are extinct.It shows both exactly where each stream is called out and species in trouble are named.
