The Chicago Health Connection (CHC) is a community-based nonprofit health education and advocacy organization working to help mothers and babies since 1986. CHC started as a volunteer effort to develop better ways of promoting breastfeeding in under-served communities in Chicago. It now operates in selected areas across the United States to launch peer-support community health worker programs that assist families during pregnancy
