The mission of Reeling: The Chicago Lesbian and Gay International Film Festival is to celebrate and increase the awareness of lesbian and gay media arts culture by providing an affirmative showcase for the work of lesbian and gay film and video makers. The annual Festival contributes to a sense of community and facilitates the exchange of ideas about evolving issues of importance to gay and lesbian culture. Reeling is the world's second oldest lgbt film festival and takes place in November.
