Mount Sinai Medical Institute Council is a group of social and civic-minded young professionals who raise funds for Mount Sinai Hospital and promote awareness about its needs. Mount Sinai Hospital has served Chicago's west side for over 80 years. It was originally founded to serve needy Eastern Euroean immigrants and to train Jewish physicians denied educational opportunities elsewhere. Mount Sinai continues to provide quality healthcare regardless of patient's ability to pay for services.
