It is the goal of the Minor League Players Institute (MLPI) a non-profit 501 (c)(3) association to provide professional educational and financial guidance to student-athletes who postpone completion of their post-secondary studies in order to pursue a career in America's past time. The MLPI works closely with current and former coaches and trainers and college and univeristy administrators to recruit its members.
