The American Stroke Foundation was established as the first Stroke Resource Center for the more 7,500 stroke survivors their families and caregivers in the metropolitan Kansas City area. The center will serve as a national model to be replicated in other parts of the country. The Foundation does no duplicate existing services but rather complements them by providing the missing link in the nurturing of stroke survivors and those who care for them. In our community
