The Kansas Autism Foundation is a nonprofit corporation founded in 1990. Its members are dedicated to ensuring that all children with autism are afforded an equal opportunity to develop a solid learning foundation one that generates both independence and enjoyment of life through accessing effective education. We are committed to significantly improving the lives of these children and their families by providing educational opportunities utilizing well established teaching strategies that are empirically validated and peer reviewed in more than 500 studies. We will strive to directly impact this population by providing quality educational programs and integrating qualified teachers in the state-wide education system through the development and implementation of a site-based teacher training center.
