The SEDP was designed by parents and strives to be responsive to the needs of parents. Monthly meetings are held by the Board of Directors to discuss quality improvement of the program and other issues related to its success and vitality. One goal of SEDP is to provide the children in Southborough who attend Kindergarten through Fifth grade a secure home-like environment for their out of school time. Keeping the children active safe and happy is another of SEDPs goals. The third goal is to provide a service for working parents and those parents who want their children to improve their social skills after school. Parents are reassured that the program in which they are entrusting their child is safe and fun. The Site Coordinators in conjunction with the Executive Director develop daily activities
