Volunteers assure that children receive necessary services to move them from foster care toward safe and permanent homes. CASA volunteers are appointed by family court judges to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children after they have been removed from their homes. Volunteers gather all relevant information and report back to the judge the status of the child
