The Fund for a Better Waterfront (FBW) is dedicated to preserving the Hudson River waterfront for the public's use and enjoyment for generations to come. FBW has encouraged waterfront municipalities to adopt pro-active planning strategies as a means of creating public waterfronts. FBW has created plans for the Hoboken and Weehawken waterfronts that include continuous linear riverfront parks. In Hoboken the waterfront park is now 75% built and serves as a model for waterfront planning. FBW has produced several publications and exhibits to promote public planning at the waterfront.
