Purpose and Scope of Group This support group is for manic depressive (or unipolar depressive) persons along with their family members or very close friends who either live with them or see them on a very regular basis. This support group aims to provide support for both the manic depressive person and the family member(s) who have to deal with the direct and indirect problems that can be associated with this affliction. Families who stick together and struggle with these intense and difficult problems on a daily basis need support. There is no need to feel so isolated as you are not alone!
