Improve conditions for Hard of Hearing people in North Carolina by promoting both the national Self Help for Hard of Hearing People Inc. (SHHH) and local chapters and groups of SHHH in North Carolina. NC-SHHH is a board of trustees whose efforts are directed at state-wide awareness of hearing loss issues and promoting cooperation with other related volunteer and state agencies.
