Connecting Educational Communities was begun in response to a request from the Guatemalan Coordinator of Indigenous Affairs for the State of Solo to bring Portland State University students to work in the schools in this area. Our students collect educational supplies and raise funds for community initiated projects in the schools and then work with the communities on these development projects.
