Mastery Charter Schools (MCS) was created to prepare underserved youth for success in post-secondary education and the knowledge-based economy. Mastery's first school was founded in September 2001 by a coalition of business and civic leaders. We currently operate two high performing charter schools in Philadelphia serving grades 7-12
