Sustaining Greene County works to reclaim agriculture and forestry as economic development in southwestern Pennsylvania. Central to this effort is Tally Hollow Farm home to our free range poultry and sustainable forestry demonstration project. We are committed to outreach and education efforts which will encourage youth to remain in agriculture and encourage stewardship of our natural resources. Tally Hollow Farm is unique in that it was affected by long wall mining in the early 80's and had been out of production until 2004. Tally Hollow Farm was voted the #1 preservation opportunity by the Young Preservationist Association of Pittsburgh for 2004.
