Richmond CASA is dedicated to advocating for safe and permanent homes for abused and neglected children who appear before Richmond City's Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The judges of this court appoint CASA to "speak up for a child in court." Carefully trained volunteers accomplish this by investigating the facts of a child's case: interviewing interested persons and reviewing relevant records pertaining to the child or family.
