The Asian Pacific Islander Community Leadership Foundation (ACLF) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1998 in response to a growing concern about the need to train future leaders to ensure that the Asian Pacific Islander community has a voice at the table of political discourse and policy making. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide an environment that fosters the development of individual leadership community strength and inter-community unity to promote issues critical to Asian Pacific Islanders. ACLF's primary method of achieving this mission is through a six-month Community Leaders Program (CLP). Participants meet bi-monthly in workshops that focus on leadership development
