J.E.M.S. (Java, English, Math, & Science) is a NON-PROFIT Private 1-on-1 Tutoring Program that gives students the opportunity to enhance their educational experience in K-12 as well as College. We provide a large pool of well-qualified private tutors that have experience in their specific courses. As students come to J.E.M.S. for assistance, we match them up with the private tutor that would best suit their needs. This organization creates the link between student and tutor, and is an easy/user-friendly way to find the tutor for the specific course you are looking for. We currently have college tutoring service available at UCLA, UC-Irvine, and U.S.C. In addition we have K-12 service in the cities of Irvine,Newport Beach,Huntington Beach, & Los Angeles. Our tutors have already accomplished their specified courses and are fit to teach and assist students in the curriculum.

~Motivation~

We believe that college students should have the opportunity to learn by whatever means necessary without being dis-motivated by the costs of education. From that, we provide our special college tutoring prices so students can get a better understanding or help with the material. Our initial motivation was based on the idea of "Students helping Students!" Upperclassmen in College can earn some extra money to help pay their tuition by tutoring K-12 students as well as underclassmen in lower-division subjects. In addition, this gives the underclassmen a better introduction to major-related courses as sometimes it is difficult for some to absorb the material at first. J.E.M.S. is nonprofit and has only the main goal of helping college, as well as K-12 students, simply learn.
