The Central Coast Film Society provides screenings of films to the Central Coast Community.

The specific objectives, purpose and mission of the Central Coast Film Society shall be:

a. To celebrate cinema and promote media arts and entertainment on Californias Central Coast.

And by doing so, the Society shall:

a. Provide educational lectures, seminars and/or other platforms for Central Coast filmmakers and students.

b. Sponsor, host and/or participate in forums and/or screenings of films that have an impact on the Central Coasts Community and Culture that may include:

  i. Central Coast Film Festival

  ii. Central Coast Film Society Screenings

The Central Coast Film Society is also incorporated as a nonprofit organization and adheres to all 501(c)(3) requirements.

The CCFS was granted official 501(c)(3) charitable organization status by the IRS on March 7, 2019 and is retroactive to the date of incorporation on March 20, 2018.
