Volunteer Information:

We are always looking for volunteers! We have several events throughout the year that can always use extra hands to work, or donations of materials needed. Pillowcase Dresses every December, All donated materials will be dedicated to the creation of a beautiful pillowcase dress and sent to Uganda, Kenya, Poland, Rwanda, Guatemala, Ecuador, India, Zimbabwe, and the United States! All monetary donations will aid in the airport checked bag fees which range from $100-$300 per bag depending on the country and based on a 55 lb bag. Also needed are Gallon size freezer bags, Any size new or gently used pillowcases, Cotton fabric, Thread, Grossgrain ribbon, Suitcases. Sole Hope: creating shoes from jeans for kids in Uganda who suffer from jigger infestations. Items needed: Sharpies, Large safety pins, Gallon size freezer bags, Plastic folders, Denim material or jeans, Used non-returnable suitcases, Sponsorship of $10 per full shoe pattern, and financial donations for shipping We have so many more opportunities for Volunteers, please visit our website for more info and to see how you can help!
