Volunteer Information:

As a grassroots organization, volunteers are how we get the word out about ranked choice voting and the benefits it provides to voters. Volunteer opportunities include: - Attending cavassing events - Phone banking - Organizing events (setting up or supporting ranked choice voting demos - rank your ice cream for example) - Social media (creating content - sharing information - promoting events) - Arts (creating flyers, graphics for explainer hand-outs, etc.) - Fundraising (house parties, donor calls) - Local ambassadors (head the local chapter in your town - arrange canvassing events, talk to city council) - Campaign management - Data entry - Data management/analytics

Donation Information:

Ranked choice voting is a no-brainer, the main barrier to passing it at the city and state levels in Illinois is awareness / education. As such, we would use funds to further scale up our public education campaigns, which are critical to the movement's success: - acquiring staff - social media advertising - mailers / educational materials - event and tabling fees - canvassing supplies - promotional items
