Friends of Fitchburg DOGS, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare and is comprised of dedicated volunteers together with the City of Fitchburg and Recreation and Conservation Departments working to create a dog park to serve our community. We were incorporated in July 2015 with the goal of animal welfare in our community, specifically to raise funds, design, and obtain approval for a dog park in our community.We were awarded a grant for the complete dog park construction in Oct 2016, and are currently fundraising for funds to promote dog training outreach for successful and safe implementation of our dog park in 2017.
