The Central African Relief Effort Inc. (C.A.R.E.) is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, registered in the State of Nevada to work at a community level to raise funds for the purpose of facilitating relief and development operations in the Central Africa, one of the most poverty stricken regions in the world.
Central Africa includes The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Central African Republic (CAR), Congo Republic, Burundi and Rwanda.
Our office is located in Las Vegas and our organization is founded in November 2016.
We are currently working to raise funds so as to facilitate our first mission, Mission "MAISHA MAPYA", the Swahili phrase meaning New life.
The aim of MAISHA MAPYA is to relocate individuals from the violent and economically and politically unstable East Democratic Republic of Congo (where 60% of women are subjected to violent rape as means of coercion, children are conscripted into slavery in mines and like facilities, and 1,479 die every day from constant warfare and sectarian violence) to the stable West Congo, where they will fill positions with companies that C.A.R.E. has already reached out to, in cities such as the Congos capital, Kinshasa.
