The Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council is one of 23 regional councils of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), a nonprofit corporate membership organization that advances business opportunities for its certified Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business enterprises and connect them to its corporate members.
The SMSDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to certifying, connecting, developing and advocating Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs).
Through active leadership & professional education, the SMSDC works with major corporations throughout the United States and MBEs within the Central & Southwest Texas regions, Oklahoma and New Mexico to increase participation in supplier diversity programs. Established in 1999, SMSDC is the minority business enterprise (MBE) direct link to corporate America.
